Decoupling any relationship can hard .
BUT . “You don’t cut off your nose to spite you face” 😶 . ✅ TYPE “NO” TO AFFIRM ✅ .
Have you ever known a relationship was over and either walked away physically (or in your head) but despite what you told yourself (or said out loud to others) about this so- called “letting go”, the relationship still lingered and ultimately undermined your freedom to make meaningful progress? .
Sometimes reflex or emotional retaliation causes us to attempt forced release in response to others detaching themselves .
AND .
we end up free falling into a never ending abyss of perpetually revisiting pain 😭 from the past and reintroducing it to the reality of our future forward which is being held back .

This attitude continues to fascinate me as I have watched people around me try to convince themselves that what they once cared about no longer mattered because they wanted to “MOVE ON” .
While I would agree that there is little value in beating the proverbial “dead horse” I also believe, rather strongly I might add, that when you pretend to be “Over It” as oppose to “Loving Through The Pain” to a place of genuine peace absent bitterness, you BECOME the (once-thought) dead horse that continues to be beaten mercilessly while your internally agonizing cries go unanswered; NOT because No One Cares 😏 but rather because NO ONE KNOWS!” 😢 - IG | @nigelwrite — view on Instagram http://bit.ly/2W3x6UU
