If you have followed me for any length of time you have seen me WRITE and heard me SAY many times “The Gift 🎁 is in the GIVING and the RECIPROCITY is in the recipient Paying It Forward” - Nigel Write © .

Previously I have focused heavily on the “GIFT 🎁” part A LOT but today I am going to share the origins of my “RECIPROCITY” Philosophy.
.

My next comment will contain a piece I wrote OVER three (3) years ago for a friend that I had known at the time 25 YEARS.
.

I remember writing it vividly, as the day I finished it and read it to her we were on our way to a restaurant near the beach.
.
For YEARS and more specifically in the previous few weeks I had been watching how she gave, gave and gave till it hurt (LITERALLY) and then gave some MORE.
.
I also noticed the FRUSTRATION she displayed when she perceived a lack of appreciation.  Proverbially speaking … how a Five (5) Star Michelin Rated Meal Soured in the BELLY of being taken for granted.
.
I wrote the following in tribute to that feeling.  A cathartic response and roadmap to understanding the value of the GIFTS 🎁 we give and BLESSINGS associated at the point of delivery that can NEVER be devalued. .
Please accept this humble offering of perspective to those of us who GIVE and sometimes feel UNAPPRECIATED.
